Blomberg Washer Brush Replacement Tips<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As the title says, this post is for technicians \u2014 or anyone handy who\u2019s not afraid to get their hands a little dirty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blomberg washing machines are popular condo-size units, and many of them use brushed motors. Over time, these small brushes wear out \u2014 usually after about five years, depending on how often the washer is used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before you do anything else: unplug the washer!<\/strong>
On older Blomberg models (especially the stackable ones), the washer is often powered through a connection box located on the back right side of the dryer. These setups run on 220 volts<\/strong>, so take safety seriously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To get to the motor, you\u2019ll need access to the back of the washer. Remove the back cover, take off the belt, and then remove the four screws holding the motor in place \u2014 two at the front and two farther inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u26a0\ufe0f Important:<\/strong> When pulling the motor out, be careful \u2014 there are sharp metal edges around the opening. Wear gloves<\/strong> and avoid pulling too hard; a gentle wiggle usually does the trick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the motor is out, you can check the brushes. You have two options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
